Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or signing in to pokr ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) and legally permitted to use online poker services where you reside. You are solely responsible for confirming that your use of the Service complies with all laws applicable to you.

3. Nature of the Service

pokr provides private, invitation-based poker rooms. Chips used at tables represent in-game balances only and have no independent monetary value. The Service does not operate as a licensed casino and does not facilitate, host, or guarantee real-money wagering, winnings, payouts, or tax treatment of any balances.

4. Accounts and Authentication

Accounts are created via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for safeguarding your Google account. You may not create multiple accounts, share your account, or impersonate another person.

5. Fair Play

You agree not to:

• collude with other players or share hole-card information;
• use bots, scripts, automation, or any form of real-time assistance;
• exploit bugs rather than reporting them in good faith;
• chip-dump, soft-play, or otherwise manipulate outcomes;
• harass, threaten, or abuse other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts, void hands, or freeze balances if we reasonably believe these rules have been violated.

6. Clubs

Club owners and managers set their own rules, buy-in amounts, and rake. You acknowledge that joining a club means accepting its house rules in addition to these Terms. Club operators are not employees or agents of pokr.

7. Virtual Chips

Chips on the Service are virtual play-money internal to each club, issued and tracked by the Service. They have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash or any other consideration, and cannot be transferred outside the Service. Chip balances may be adjusted, frozen, or removed by club managers or platform admins for any reason, including suspected fraud, account compromise, or violations of these Terms.

8. Cosmetic Purchases

The shop offers optional cosmetic features, including avatar frames, win effects, name styles, custom victory sounds, and custom card backs. Purchases do not include chips, gambling stakes, cash prizes, or any competitive advantage. Cosmetics are linked to your pokr account and can be used across clubs.

Each purchase is a one-time payment for access to the selected cosmetic, with no recurring fee or scheduled expiry. This permanent access is a right to use the feature within the Service while your account and the Service remain available, subject to these Terms. It is not ownership of the Service or a transferable asset. After unlocking a custom sound or card back, you may replace your uploaded audio or image without an additional purchase.

Payments are handled through Xsolla. Review the final price, currency, and applicable taxes or fees in Xsolla checkout before paying. Access is added to the account used for checkout after we receive payment confirmation; delivery may take a short time. Purchases are also subject to the terms presented by Xsolla at checkout, including its End User License Agreement and Refund Policy.

For payment problems or refund requests, contact Xsolla Support. When Xsolla confirms a refund or payment reversal, access granted by that purchase is revoked and the affected cosmetic is unequipped unless you have another valid entitlement. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights, including any cancellation, refund, or remedy rights that apply where you live.

9. Uploaded Images and Audio

Upload only content you own or have permission to use in the Service, including permission for other table participants to see or hear it. Content must be lawful and must not infringe copyright, privacy, or other rights, or contain harassment, threats, or abusive material. You remain responsible for your uploads, and we may remove content or restrict its use when it violates these Terms.

You retain your rights to your content. You grant pokr a non-exclusive permission to store, process, reproduce, display, and play it only as needed to provide the feature, including delivery to table participants. You can unequip, replace, or delete your custom sound and card back in the shop. Deletion stops further serving of the upload through the Service; backup retention and copies already received by others are explained in our Privacy Policy.

10. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, pokr and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or created risk for other users or the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. After material changes, we ask you to accept the current version when you sign in again. We also require acceptance of the current Terms and Privacy Policy before a cosmetic purchase. Continued use after a non-material update constitutes acceptance.
